Dark Choc Bar Cake
Delicious dark chocolate cake, which with a little single cream makes an impressive dessert for entertaining.
Ingredients: Makes 6-8 slices
- 150g self-raising flour
- Pinch of ground sea salt
- 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 20g caster sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 20g plain dark chocolate grated
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted, or vegetable oil
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
Lightly grease a small loaf tin.
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. In a second bowl, combine the yogurt, sugar, egg, grated chocolate and vanilla extract. Next slowly whisk in the flour mixture then fold in the coconut oil and pour into the loaf tin, bake in a preheated oven for about 30- 40 minutes or until cooked.
When completely cooled cut into slices to serve.
