Brilliant Chocolate Mousse
These tempting little delicate mousses take a little extra time to make, but they are so worth the wait, delicious.
Ingredients: Makes two individual mousses
- 2 egg whites
- 50g plain dark chocolate
- 50g Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder for dusting
- 50g mixed berries
Melt the chocolate in a oven proof bowl over a pan of boiling water. Once it is melted allow the chocolate to cool for about 10 minutes, but not to re-set.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff, then gently fold in the icing sugar next gently fold the cooled melted chocolate into the egg whites.
Divide the mixture between two individual dessert dishes, you could use espresso cups and place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
When you’re ready to serve place a few mixed berries on the top and dust with a little cocoa powder.
