Traditional Rosemary Lamb Chops

Great popular take on lamb chops, try it with a selection of vegetables and sweet potato mash.

Ingredients: Serves two

  • 4 small lamb chops, trimmed of fat
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • Pinch of ground sea salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable or olive oil


Combine chopped rosemary, salt, pepper and garlic and gently rub over either side of the lamb, allow the flavours to soak in for 5 minutes.

Cook the chops in a lightly oiled frying pan or griddle pan on a medium heat for 2–4 minutes per side on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

Remove the chops from the pan and let them stand 5 minute, keeping them warm in a low heat oven or with some kitchen foil, placed just over the top, serve  with selection of side vegetables or salad.
