Double Quick Berry Sherry Individual Trifles
Making this traditional, but diet helpful favourite, is so easy, ready in minutes and tastes fantastic.
Ingredients: Makes two individual trifles
- 4 sponge fingers
- 1 pots of pre prepared jelly, vegetarian friendly
- 1 tablespoon sherry, optional
- 1 tablespoon fruit juice
- 50g custard
- 30ml double cream, whipped
- 75g fresh strawberries, you can use any berry in season which is available
Break the sponge fingers and sprinkle with the sherry, if you’re not using sherry soak in a little more fruit juice then place around the side of a ramekin or glass dish.
Break up the jelly with a spoon and place on top of the sponge fingers, add a tablespoon of custard over and then finish with a teaspoon of whipped cream and fresh fruit. Place in the fridge to for 20 minutes before serving.
