Light Chocolate Trifle
These fabulous slim friendly individual trifles are just the thing for a welcome midweek chocolate delight, fabulous anytime as well.
Ingredients: Makes two individual trifles
- 4 sponge fingers
- 1 pots of pre prepared jelly, vegetarian friendly
- 50g custard
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 30ml double cream, whipped
- 25g chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon fruit juice
Break the sponge fingers if you’re soak in a little fruit juice. Place around the side of a ramekin or glass dish.
Break up the jelly with a spoon and place on top of the sponge fingers, mix the custard with the cocoa powder and spoon over the jelly. Finish the trifle with a teaspoon of whipped cream and sprinkle of chocolate chips. Place in the fridge to for 20 minutes before serving.
