Banana Ice Cream
Effortless delicate almost real ice cream which the whole family can enjoy, it is just as delicious with other fruits like frozen mango, pineapple or berries. This is a really simple version, for a slightly fancier version with berries, honey and yogurt look here.
Ingredients: Serves two
- 1 large ripe peeled bananas cut into chunks and frozen
- 2 to 4 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Place frozen bananas in a food processor and puree, adding the vanilla extract and just a few spoonfuls of juice or milk to make a soft serve texture to the banana “ice cream”. Serve some as an appetising accompaniment or on its own as a complete final course.
